James R. Benoit has practiced law in Santa Rosa since 1973.  Before that he was an attorney for five years with the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General's Department.  He has been married for more than thirty years, and has raised two sons in Santa Rosa, now both young adults.

Mr. Benoit is credentialed by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a certified specialist in family law.  He practices family law and estate planning.
